Starting on Saturday May 16th, you can find the Barre Farmers Market at Vermont Granite Museum 7 Jones Brother Road, Barre, Vermont, every Wednesdays, 3:00 - 7:00 pm. AND Saturdays, 9:00 AM-1:00 pm through October 17th, 2015.
The Barre Farmers Market is not only a great place to purchase local produce and goods, but it is a place to enjoy the day with family and friends. This year, to celebrate their Opening Day, Saturday May 16th, they will be hosting a special children's event:
“My Vegetable Patch”
The market provide all the materials, seeds, soil and containers. Special thank you goes to Vermont Compost, Metroway community gardens annual seed swap and Away.
This season all sorts of wonderful things will be offered at the market! From fresh spring greens and gourmet mushrooms to beautifully constructed pieces using natural materials! Who better to buy them from than your own community members?
There’s no better way to strengthen your local community than to shop and eat locally! By visiting the Barre Farmers Market, you support our local farmers as well as businesses and community members. Also, you support yourself by providing healthy and fresh food for you and your family.
The Barre Farmers Market also accepts EBT and Debit cards! If you have any questions about how to use your EBT or Debit card at the market, please contact Joann Darling, market manger, email: firstname.lastname@example.org 802-505-8437.
